The Newest Update of Amazon, “Buy with Prime,” provides free delivery to customers. The feature is an initiative that aims to counter the growing threats from Shopify.Â
Businesses who utilize Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) warehousing and shipping services may now include Buy with Prime buttons on their websites.Â
Several online retailers provide Prime privileges like free shipping, next-day delivery, and return policies.
To maximize this service, you will need to pay $15 a month for Prime. For Prime customers, Amazon’s new Buy with Prime service might almost be considered a unique benefit. It’s a time saver for both customers and merchants. Nevertheless, you’ll need a Prime membership to enjoy free shipping, next-day delivery, and free returns.Â
It is undoubtedly worth a lot of money. Of course, Amazon is using this perk to increase the number of Prime members.
As an intriguing side note, Shopify, another service that allows businesses to create their online storefronts easily, competes with Buy with Prime.Â
A simple online shop can be created using Shopify’s web tools for small and medium-sized businesses. Shopify services make it possible and efficient for companies to sell things online without going through or listing their products on Amazon.Â
Moving forward, online retailers that display the Buy with Prime logo may make it easier for Prime users to complete their purchases by allowing them to use their Amazon account’s shipping and payment information.
Additionally, they will receive free shipping and returns on qualifying purchases via Amazon Prime.
To take advantage of Amazon Prime and Buy Now, follow these instructions:
- Set your purchasing choices to “Buy Now” and click the button to begin the transaction process.
- Select an existing address, payment method, and delivery speed as your default options.
- Please keep in mind that the default delivery method is Standard Shipping, which is what we suggest you choose.
- By using the Buy Now service, you’ll be able to take advantage of free two-day delivery on all qualifying orders. All eligible Buy Now purchases, including those that aren’t eligible for Amazon Prime, will be sent with two-day delivery if you designate it as your default option.
- Using the Shopping Cart instead of purchasing right away will automatically send all qualifying products with FREE 2-Day Shipping to any street address in some cities in the United States. Free standard shipping will be used by default for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. If a quicker delivery option is available, you’ll be able to pick up each item in your order.
- Changes to shipping or payment details may be made by selecting the desired option in the Buy Now pop-up, after which you can go back and place your order. Select Change in the appropriate area of the order review/checkout page to alter any selections.
However, these advantages do not come for free. Amazon will charge retailers for using the Buy with Prime buttons on their websites, but the costs will be kept under wraps.Â
